An Evening Under the Stars

The Darien Arts Center sparkled under a starry night reminiscent of Van Gogh’s infamous painting at its 1st annual fundraising gala, An Evening Under the Stars...

Our very successful benefit took place on Saturday, June 24th amidst luminous décor in the DAC Weatherstone Studio and garden with over 100 guests in attendance. First Selectwoman Jayme Stevenson and DAC board member Marion Weatherstone spoke at our event that raised critical funds for the DAC and included cocktails and live music. Raffle prizes were generously donated by Andrew Stefanou Salon and Spa, Kirby and Co., Ten Twenty Post Restaurant and Williams and Co. Sponsors included Darien Rowayton Bank, Pear Tree Point School, Virtual Doorman, Dr. Rhett Drugge, Nestlé Waters, Nedder & Associates, Palmer’s Market, Wine Cellarage, Spiked Seltzer, Browne and Co., Chocolate Works, The Gardener’s Center and Florist, IBM and Moffly Media.

Many thanks to all who came out in support of the DAC and to all who helped contribute to the festivities and our success, particularly Cristine Foster and Marty Hendrickson, co-chairs of the event and their wonderful committee. We are also extremely grateful to Lew and Mary Green and The Ragtime Evolution, all of our staff and volunteers, and all of our generous sponsors!
