Join Peter Green in this acting class for adults.

There's a renewed interest in the idea of mindfulness, of being present in the moment. Using a progression of in-class exercises that lead to scene work, students will explore the idea of mindful acting. What is the difference between showing and doing, between the truth and the lie? How do we overcome our natural self-consciousness? Come play and learn with us.

Peter is an early graduate of the Acting Conservatory of SUNY Purchase. He has been acting, directing and teaching theatre in Westchester and Fairfield Counties for the past 20 years. At the DAC he has directed 'Jacques Brel is Alive and Well and Living in Paris', and 'You're a Good Man Charlie Brown', and has been onstage in 'Six Degrees of Separation',' A Month in the Country', 'Almost Maine' and 'Baby'.
