NANCY MCTAGUE-STOCK Adults | Thursday 10-11am, Feb. 11-Mar. 25 | $126 Throughout this six week Zoom course, Nancy will work with her students to broaden their horizons both in technical skill and material knowledge. She will help each student grow as an artist individually, suiting each artist's personal style, level and interest. A Zoom link for the course will be sent prior to the first class.MOKI KOKORIS Adults | Monday 6:30-8:30pm, May 3-24 | $185 Emulate the master himself in his careful study of drapery and how best to capture light as it illuminated the fabric's flowing shapes and forms. Working on tan or grey toned paper, students will use black Prismacolor pencil to layer shading, and white pencil to add highlights to the folds, which lend the drawing its 3-dimensionality.DANCE ADULT BALLET ELIZABETH HALL, BONNIE GOMBOS Adults | Monday 9:45-11:15am or Friday 10-11:30am | Jan. 21-June 4 | $420 This registration is for a 20 class card. Adult dance and adult martial arts are drop in classes that the card can be used for. All students are encouraged to try this popular intermediate level class. each class will include a thorough barre, center floor, and a well-balanced combination in a relaxed and positive atmosphere.$25 Drop-in Fee or 20-class card for $420 available for adult classes ($35 registration fee due 1x per yr.) This class will improve coordination, stamina, and self awareness. $25 Drop-in Fee or 20-class card for $420 available for adult classes ($35 registration fee due 1x per yr.) Available at DAC office or at (203) 655-8683. MUSIC THE MUSIC PROGRAM is open to children and adults. Our students receive a foundation in classical or jazz which can later be applied to any musical interest. All of our instructors are professionals chosen both for their artistry and teaching skills. We offer instruction in piano, voice, guitar, violin, flute, cello and percussion. Through one-on-one instruction, our students discover their full potential by strengthening their technique, artistry, self- awareness and individuality.
PRIVATE MUSIC INSTRUCTION Lessons are individually scheduled based on student and teacher availability. Consult your teacher regarding school holidays and teacher absences prior to registering. No classes during Darien Public School’s February & April vacation weeks. Consult your teacher for weather cancellations, the Music Dept. does not always follow school cancellations.
