East Coast Contemporary Ballet, Thomas/Ortiz Dance and Lydia Johnson Dance are performing a summer evening of inspiring ballet, contemporary and modern dance at Weed Beach. The performance take place on WEDNESDAY, JULY 26 at 6:30pm and is free and open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to picnic with family and friends and enjoy a night out under the stars. This performance is made possible by the Darien Arts Center.
ABOUT THE FESTIVAL—Established in 2021 by East Coast Contemporary Ballet and Thomas/Ortiz Dance, the Fairfield County Dance Festival is an annual open-air summer performance series that is entirely free of charge. Curated for and touring throughout Fairfield County, Connecticut, this dance festival enables greater accessibility to the arts and promotes community engagement. In addition to East Coast Contemporary Ballet and Thomas/Ortiz Dance, the touring festival features other local artists, guest dance companies, and musicians.
