Becca Winter, America’s Got Talent shadow dancing finalist brings her mesmerizing show to the Darien Arts Center on September 23rd and 24th.
The Darien Arts Center has announced the addition of professional dancers Morgan Stinnett and Katelyn Somers from New York City to their popular dance program. Stinnett will be teaching High School Broadway and Partnering and Somers will be teaching Ballet, Middle School Broadway and Kids Broadway.
The Darien Arts Center has announced the addition of accomplished Scottish harpist Eilidh McRae to its popular music program, which offers private and group music lessons to all ages. McRae will be teaching a small group class, the Happy Harps Course, to grades 1-3 and 4-6 on Sunday mornings, starting in October. Find out more and sign up at darienarts.org. We are thrilled to announce the completion of the installation of a new, state of the art, LED lighting system in its DAC Weatherstone Studio. A $100,000 grant for the monumental project was generously provided by The Darien Foundation, who has partnered with the Arts Center for multiple years while the project was planned and implemented.
The Darien Arts Center is hosting Silhouettes, an all-new mixed repertory program from East Coast Contemporary Ballet. The program marks the fourth season of ECCB performing at the Arts Center and is set to music that ranges from classic to contemporary.
